Well, the vote is in! The 2024 Independent Publisher Book Awards (aka the Ippy’s) has announced medalists in fiction and non-fiction categories, shining a spotlight on an outstanding literary work. Don’t Feed the Clowns has won Gold! The Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY) has been honoring independently published books for 28 years. Entries were submitted from 1800 authors and publishers hailing from 33 countries.
For his work on Don’t Feed the Clowns: Sustainable Investing for Everyday Life, Wannen received the gold medal in the finance, investing, economics category. The awards recognize excellence in independent publishing across various genres in categories ranging from Autobiography to Audiobooks. Special recognition was also given in 12 regions spanning the globe to both fiction and non-fiction titles. FLY: Financially Literate Youth by Jai and Marlies Hobbs and Financially Capable by Matt Paradise received the silver medal.
